After his success as a student in leading Team USA to win the Enactus (SIFE) World Cup competition in 2007, featuring a project with Homes for Sudan, John Razzouk has continued a career in serving and teaching students at La Sierra University in Riverside, California. Razzouk works to remind others to never underestimate what students are capable of. “When you see what a handful of La Sierra University students can do,” says Razzouk, “just imagine what is possible for students all over the world.”
Today he heads Program Management in the Tom and Vi Zapara School of Business, working daily to design and implement new programs and experiences for its students. He also works as a Professor of Marketing, TEDx Organizer, Enactus Sam Walton Fellow at La Sierra University. His Enactus students operate as a student-run non-profit – one of 533 university-based teams in the United States and over 1600 from around the world. During his ten years working with the Zapara School of Business, he has led and mentored (once as a student and once as faculty advisor) two National Champion Enactus (SIFE) teams and one Enactus (SIFE) World Cup team, received the Jack Kahl Entrepreneurial Leadership Award, and was named Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellow of the Year.
